[08:46]<myrrmrmrrr>http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/aqsis/tools/BtoR/
[08:46]<wrvne>aqsis follows the renderman standards. I don't know what RIB only means
[08:46]<myrrmrmrrr>That link maybe broken. :O
[08:46]<wrvne>yup
[08:53]<myrrmrmrrr>Is anyone here into their home audio? ¬_¬
[08:53]<dacww1o>MickMcMack, for surround sound?
[08:53]<dacww1o>entertainment systems?
[08:54]<myrrmrmrrr>-_-
[08:54]<myrrmrmrrr>I am looking into investing in an amp and and some speakers but has no clue where to start. :)
[08:54]<myrrmrmrrr>Because when my brother and I get our student loans in September, we're looking to put around 300GBP each into a nice new system for a gaming room. :x
[08:54]<dacww1o>MickMcMack, just remember, you get what you pay for
[08:55]<dacww1o>especially with audio equipment
[08:55]<sunlxrnn>MickMcMack: your celebrating a loan by spending money?
[08:55]<myrrmrmrrr>600GBP ~= 1100 USD.
[08:55]<myrrmrmrrr>Surphaze, student loan is thar to be spent!
[08:55]<sunlxrnn>heh
[08:55]<myrrmrmrrr>Surphaze, it's not payable until I earn a minimum of 15k/year.
[08:55]<dacww1o>yeah, on food and books
[08:55]<sunlxrnn>you have to pay it back at some point tho
[08:56]<myrrmrmrrr>Yep.
[08:56]<myrrmrmrrr>But I can't choose to get less monies.
[08:56]<dacww1o>thats what im paying off now
[08:56]<myrrmrmrrr>I can choose all or nothing.
[08:56]<sunlxrnn>MickMcMack: ah
[08:56]<sunlxrnn>you could in theory choose not to spend said money, but I can see the problem now
[08:57]<myrrmrmrrr>Aye.
[08:57]<myrrmrmrrr>I'd prefer to spend it and enjoy my 5 years at uni though. \o/
[08:58]<sunlxrnn>seems reasonable
[08:58]<myrrmrmrrr>So, do I choose speakers before amps?
[08:58]<myrrmrmrrr>s/amps/amp
[08:58]<pggg>dont ask an audiophile for questions, ask a sound engineer
[08:59]<myrrmrmrrr>\o/
[08:59]<pggg>audiophiles buy dumb shit
[08:59]<myrrmrmrrr>JESUS, there are some speakers for... 14 THOUSAND pounds on eBay.
[09:00]<dacww1o>MickMcMack, you get what you pay for
[09:00]<dacww1o>and that is especially the case with audio equipment
[09:01]<sunlxrnn>fenn: I can agree with that
[09:02]<sunlxrnn>hi KenshinW95^

[09:02]<myrrmrmrrr>Do these look OK?
[09:07]<dacww1o>http://www.yikers.com/video_guy_flips_the_hell_out_on_telemarketer.html
[09:07]<dacww1o>i think that guy kind of went overboard
[09:07]<pggg>yeah nothing makes an old car new like big speakers
[09:09]<myrrmrmrrr>Do you think it'd be best if I bought a package system?
[09:10]<aaxnzznvv>has anyone been successfull creating mountains using a height map and noise?
[09:10]<aaxnzznvv>my plane is not seeming to pick up the height map
[09:12]<iror[hun]>ahoy
[09:13]<iror[hun]>im absolutelly beginner in blender.I make a little animation for my home dvd (intro).i want to know how can i do a boom effect.how can i blow up, a text ?
[09:14]<iror[hun]>with LocRot ?
[09:16]<sunlxrnn>IgOR[HUN]: like make the letters fly around?
[09:16]<myrrmrmrrr>What is a good electronics store?
[09:16]<iror[hun]>yes, or the letter pieces fly around...
[09:17]<wrvne>does anyone know a good running character animation tutorial? It doesn't need to be specific to blender
[09:18]<sunlxrnn>IgOR[HUN]: you can manually keyframe each letter moving around over time, there was a modifier in some build that broke up a mesh for you
[09:18]<iror[hun]>zuppa.one more question?
[09:19]<iror[hun]>can i make a curve for a cam ? can i put the cam to the curve path ?
[09:20]<sunlxrnn>IgOR[HUN]: yes
[09:20]<sunlxrnn>IgOR[HUN]: in general make the curve, parent the camera to the curve, choose follow path
[09:20]<sunlxrnn>then tweak the settings in constraint to get what you want
[09:21]<iror[hun]>aham,thanks.
[09:21]<sunlxrnn>hi Phlip
[09:22]<wrvne>nm
[09:25]<dacww1o>http://www.killsometime.com/Video/video.asp?ID=521

[09:26]<sunlxrnn>I can't understand why the person who did this lived to post it
[09:35]<myrrmrmrrr>Explosions In The Sky - With Tired Eyes, Tired Minds, Tired souls, We slept
[09:35]<myrrmrmrrr>This song is so awesome. x)
[09:44]<sunlxrnn>MickMcMack: hmm didn't remember that one
[09:45]<sunlxrnn>there was only like 4
[09:48]<myrrmrmrrr>Not uploaded it, I'll do that latar!

[09:59]<znyzx2jzfnn>patch the hole for starters I imagine
[10:03]<znyzx2jzfnn>well I persume hacker got in via a security hole
[10:03]<znyzx2jzfnn>i'd not mind knowing what OS freenode uses and hence what security measures are in place
[10:03]<znyzx2jzfnn>ie: fedora has SElinux and is suppos. much safer
[10:04]<znyzx2jzfnn>I think for that reason sourceforge uses fedora
[10:04]<znyzx2jzfnn>&/or google possibly
[10:06]<myrrmrmrrr>It's FireFox + a blogger.
[10:06]<myrrmrmrrr>Weak.

[10:11]<myrrmrmrrr>You use a gesture to open a new tab, foo'!
[10:11]<myrrmrmrrr>The Ctrl+Enter thing is annoying, granted. x(
[10:12]<myrrmrmrrr>Yes, a mouse gesture. :X
[10:12]<myrrmrmrrr>You do not know about them?

[10:14]<myrrmrmrrr>In Opera, hold your right mousebutton and move the mouse downards, then release the right mouse button.
