[22:44]<szygnnz>i can get into the cue just fine
[22:44]<szygnnz>from the CLI
[22:44]<szygnnz>the web client gives me a login prompt
[22:44]<gjsw>Do you have any cards for them ozzzo?
[22:45]<szygnnz>but doesnt let me in
[22:45]<gndyvx>well all configuration for the cue is stored on the interal CF card
[22:45]<jeeej>nosx: not really. I have an ethernet or 2 but they're pretty much empty
[22:45]<gndyvx>so if you replace the cue you it's going to have different usernames and passwords
[22:45]<gndyvx>easiest solution, swap the cf cards
[22:47]<gjsw>bleh thanks for the offer, im just going to have to save up and see if i can snatch a 3550 off ebay for cheap.
[22:47]<gndyvx>yeah
[22:47]<gjsw>either that or convince an employer they need a "backup" switch that i can borrow for testing =P
[22:47]<gndyvx>you an me both
[22:48]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>nosx: watch out for counterfiet 3550s on ebay
[22:48]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>if they ship from china or thereabouts, you don't want them
[22:49]<gjsw>lol counterfeit how.
[22:49]<gjsw>they have a hand painted cisco logo =P
[22:49]<szygnnz>nemith, that is a f### great idea
[22:49]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>nosx: they have a counterfiet serial number, and you can't buy support for them. They're essentially the same equipment, just with lower-quality manufacture and components.
[22:50]<jeeej>kind of like buying a Dell product
[22:50]<gjsw>are they actually running the IOS with counterfeit equipment? lol
[22:50]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>yeah, they run IOS.
[22:50]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>ozzzo: LOL
[22:50]<gjsw>I need to buy one just to see that hahaha. none of my racks equipment is supported anyway.
[22:51]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>well, you don't want to get into a situation where if you resell it when you're done with certification or whatever and whoever buys it wants support
[22:51]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>then they come to you bitching that you sold them a fake switch
[22:52]<gjsw>Anything i can afford isnt commercially viable to begin with =P
[22:53]<gjsw>ill BBL, thanks for the info guys.
[22:53]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>welcome :)
[22:56]<[mzvzyw]>You never know, the chinese ones might be higher quality for all we know.
[22:57]<[mzvzyw]>They've got all that manufacturing experience making happy meal toys... they're probably pretty good by now. ;)
[23:05]<drdrsaggg>FBH^: that's what she said.
[23:06]<drdrsaggg>whoa, that was uncalled for.
[23:06]<ddaay>if my outside interface on pix is configured for dhcp setroute, when the isp releases and renews lease with new ip, Do I have to do a reload on the pix?
[23:07]<ddaay>i wasn't sure, i was thinking that i did nt, but vpn did not come back up, i have done the reload, but not back up yet
[23:07]<jeeej>your pix should be renewing at the interval specified in the config
[23:08]<[mzvzyw]>The PIX should renew automatically when the lease expires
[23:08]<ddaay>excellent
[23:08]<[mzvzyw]>if you're having problems with the VPN you can try a "clear crypto isakmp sa" and "clear crypto ipsec sa"
[23:09]<ddaay>thank you
[23:10]<[mzvzyw]>FBH, I think you're looking for #Aquarium. ;)
[23:11]<[mzvzyw]>Whatever.. I'll drop one of my 5500's on you and crush you!
[23:12]<[mzvzyw]>Yeah, until the border patrol stopped ya.
[23:12]<jeeej>oh please, no chuck norris jokes ;\
[23:12]<[mzvzyw]>;)
[23:13]<jeeej>i got my fill on #nanog
[23:13]<[mzvzyw]>lmao
[23:13]<[mzvzyw]>Ok, I'm done now.. I should probably do one of these like 30 SR's.
[23:13]<[mzvzyw]>lol, that one is good. :)
[23:15]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>it's funnier when you s/chuck norris/vin diesel
[23:15]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>in this room, there are 1216 items which vin diesel could use to kill you, including the room itself
[23:17]<jeeej>yeah but chuck norris would kick VD's ass
[23:17]<drdrsaggg>no way man
[23:18]<jeeej>chuck norris is one of the "action hero" actors who really is a martial arts expert
[23:18]<jeeej>*one of the few
[23:18]<jeeej>thus the jokes
[23:19]<drdrsaggg>true
[23:19]<drdrsaggg>chuck norris is pretty skilled.
[23:19]<drdrsaggg>but vin diesel supported dungeons and dragons!
[23:22]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>i'd think they were funny, too
[23:22]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>i mean, seriously
[23:22]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>what better PR than making people laugh?
[23:23]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>so, i'm digging this new tool album
[23:24]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>yeah, i bought it.
[23:25]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>haha :)
[23:27]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>i don't much follow the music scene anymore. reminds me too much of when i did pro audio, and how much i'd love to get back into it
[23:27]<[mzvzyw]>I did audio for a while too, heh
[23:28]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>it's an endless black hole of needing new/better equipment (read: more money) and poor pay
[23:29]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>what band is that?
[23:29]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>never heard of them
[23:29]<drdrsaggg>he's saying you suck
[23:29]<drdrsaggg>or that
[23:30]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>yeah, labels are stupid
[23:31]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>a band i was in for a while was trying to get signed
[23:31]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>we had a couple bites -- roadrunner records being one of them -- they just wanted to fuck us, basically
[23:32]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>they figure musicians are stupid and won't actually read the contracts they sign (and they're right a lot of times, sadly)
[23:32]<[mzvzyw]>I want one of these: http://www.yamaha.com/yamahavgn/CDA/ContentDetail/ModelSeriesDetail/0,,CNTID%253D59095%2526CTID%253D560488%2526CNTYP%253DPRODUCT,00.html
[23:33]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>i got a chance to use one of those at the richmond center in VA.
[23:33]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>it's a pretty nice console. the UI sucks balls, though
[23:34]<drdrsaggg>chucknorris.com rocks
[23:34]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>actually no, it wasn't an M7CL, it was a PM1D.
[23:34]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>but either way, it was a digital console with all the bells and whistles
[23:34]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>i think i still prefer analog consoles.
[23:35]<[mzvzyw]>yeah, but the PM1D is 6 years old. :)
[23:35]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>i like twisting knobs and pushing faders, A/Bing in nearfields/headphones ... i'm oldschool.
[23:36]<[mzvzyw]>I like digital presets. :)
[23:36]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>gimme a set of langevin tube preamps and a couple DBX compressors and I'm good to go.
[23:36]<[mzvzyw]>Especially when touring with the same band
[23:38]<[mzvzyw]>as like a club console or something that will be used with different bands all the time, digital isn't nearly as fun.
[23:39]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>drop a rack of macrotechs behind a stack of KF850s
[23:39]<fjzvxnz-wjzc>.... damnit, i was trying not to think about that.
[23:40]<ddaay>hey, im pretty good with a kazoo
[23:40]<ddaay>that takes allot mor talent
[23:42]<[mzvzyw]>I play lead guitar pretty well
[23:45]<[mzvzyw]>Pfft, you were already underneath it.
[23:45]<[mzvzyw]>liar
[23:45]<vd2r>lol
[23:46]<[mzvzyw]>screw you, I'm calling immigration!
[23:46]<gndyvx>er
