[00:24]<gndyvx>VMware is awesome
[00:24]<gndyvx>the majority of those servers were virtualized on to 3 big hp boxes
[00:25]<2zdsnpzz>nemith: Damn, I'd kill for those 1U machines.
[00:25]<gndyvx>yeah
[00:25]<gndyvx>i almost got one for home

[00:27]<2zdsnpzz>nemith: Good, the old doesn't look so good.
[00:27]<gndyvx>no

[00:35]<2zj>what's that?
[00:36]<vcul>informational screen or something
[00:36]<ald>very purty, now, the Admin department just moved over to where the old sales cubes were, and , , ,
[00:36]<gndyvx>oh some kiosk where people can view vidoes on neighborhoods
[00:36]<gndyvx>i used to work for a home builder
[00:36]<gndyvx>I created the plate on the wall cause the "professional installer" couldn't do it right
[00:47]<da_sdyfnn>wow nemith
[01:00]<[mzvzyw]>Anyone have a WIC-1T hooked to an Adtran?
[01:01]<gndyvx> long time ago
[01:03]<[mzvzyw]>can you remember if there's anythign special that needs to be configured on it?
[01:03]<gndyvx>shouldn't be
[01:04]<[mzvzyw]>so they say they're running pure ATM to this thing, and it's supposedly handing off a V.35 interface with frame-relay encap
[01:05]<[mzvzyw]>I don't get it.
[01:06]<gndyvx>the adtran probably is not doing anything more than csu/dsu
[01:06]<gndyvx>you can run atm over frame
[01:07]<j2rgvr_>nemith: Going to Networkers? I'm getting my schedule together, I want to go to two tech tutorials so we'll see what the boss says :)
[01:07]<[mzvzyw]>but would that affect anything on my end?
[01:07]<gndyvx>obanta_: i am trying, i don't think it will be approved :(
[01:08]<[mzvzyw]>I'm just configured for frame-relay encap, ansi lmi, and dlci 16, which is what they told me.
[01:08]<[mzvzyw]>would I have to do anything for the atm?
[01:08]<j2rgvr_>Sounds like a frame circuit to me.
[01:08]<j2rgvr_>They may be doing frame over atm on the back end, which is what several ISPs do around here.
[01:08]<j2rgvr_>But to the CPE equipment, it's just frame relay.
[01:08]<[mzvzyw]>ahh, kk
[01:09]<gndyvx>yeah
[01:09]<[mzvzyw]>well then I'm configured correctly
[01:13]<[mzvzyw]>and technically it's MPLS, so it's MPLS on frame over ATM. :-p
[01:13]<vcul>why don't you do some lmi debugging?
[01:14]<[mzvzyw]>I'm not onsite
[01:15]<gndyvx>MPLS is awesome like that though
[01:15]<gndyvx>i can take a layer 2 frame from ATM and pop it out on ethernet
[01:15]<gndyvx>or Frame or FDDI
