[00:35]<nmasfzm>on a vpn between a pix 501 and an old freeswan install, when the key expires shouldn't the hosts renegotiate and keep on passing traffic?
[00:35]<nmasfzm>my connection works great until the first key expiration
[00:38]<nmasfzm>the only weird log entry i see on the freeswan side is --> not enough room in input packet for ISAKMP Message

[01:34]<mrxmjum>when I came, he said 'run'.. this what appeared to me
[01:35]<bsdrgdjg>Because 'run' is such an insult.
[01:35]<gndyvx>BSDaemon: you stay out of this
[01:35]<mrxmjum>is 'f off so bad?
[01:35]<gndyvx>i know how you and Mahmoud are
[01:35]<gndyvx>Mahmoud: sorta
[01:35]<gndyvx>just wondering
[01:36]<mrxmjum>i thought it's not so bad.. just two words
[01:36]<gndyvx>well back to reading
[01:36]<gndyvx>later
[01:37]<mrxmjum>smells like a class room where the teacher tries to control students.. memories
[01:52]<mrxmjum>is Melinda French Gates an IT woman?
[01:53]<p1nw>She was responsible for MS Bob IIRC
[01:53]<mrxmjum>yea
[01:53]<mrxmjum>but I wonder about her IT backgrounds
[01:53]<rfv>Mahmoud: I think it's safe to say that Microsoft Bob proves her IT backgrounds -- or lack thereof.

[02:04]<mrxmjum>in a way to collect money
[02:05]<mrxmjum>any idea about the programming language bill gates wrote with his team?
[02:06]<mrxmjum>ah it was basic
[02:06]<mrxmjum>he was 18 yrs old
[02:11]<mrxmjum>bill gates parents, http://img.timeinc.net/time/gates/images/pix/parent.gif
[02:13]<szznz>what is this, the bill gates trivia hour ?
[02:16]<fnnmzajzs>I'm trying to setup an EZVPN network extension from behind a NAT router. Phase 1 of the ISAKMP process completes successfully, but phase 2 ends with my rotuer retransmiting the CONF_ADDR during the IKE_CONFIG_MODE_REQ_SENT phase until it gives up. Anyone have insight on this?
[02:21]<szznz>hey guys seems i have lost all dns,,,,
[02:21]<szznz>i have put in 4 different servers, removing the old one each time
[02:22]<szznz>anything with the 2611 that i can try
[02:28]<vcul>is the ospf command 'auto-cost reference bandwidth X' used on gigabit cards and better?
[02:32]<fnnmzajzs>Anyone familiar with this error msg: ISAKMP:(0:9:HW:2):deleting SA reason "death by retransmission P2" state (I) CONF_ADDR
[02:33]<szznz>never heard of it, but prolly the coolest worded error i have seen
[02:33]<szznz>death by retransmission
[02:33]<rfy1gw>just wondered if someone could ai me with clairifying someting
[02:34]<rfy1gw>i'm trying to research hardware for an office voip deployment
[02:34]<szznz>ya well i cant get any dns
[02:34]<szznz>hehe thank god i was in irc already
[02:34]<rfy1gw>is 3550 switch with inline power the model that can power voip phones over ethernet?
[02:35]<rfy1gw>mainly i'm wanting to clairify what exactly is inline power and emi
[02:35]<szznz>well it seems there are far more questions, than answers here today
[02:35]<jnfnwzllnzcn>hehe
[02:36]<jnfnwzllnzcn>switches with inline power can power voip phones that support that support inline power
[02:36]<jnfnwzllnzcn>so that 3550 can
[02:36]<jnfnwzllnzcn>but there are cheaper models that can, too
[02:36]<jnfnwzllnzcn>do keep in mind that inline power requires a LOT of watts
[02:37]<jnfnwzllnzcn>Sager: first ping it ?
[02:37]<szznz>what the router?
[02:37]<rfy1gw>oelewapperke, thanks
[02:37]<jnfnwzllnzcn>no the dns server
[02:37]<jnfnwzllnzcn>from the router
[02:37]<jnfnwzllnzcn>why would you want dns on your router ?
[02:38]<jnfnwzllnzcn>that just sucks
[02:38]<szznz>didnt know i could do a ping from within ios
[02:38]<jnfnwzllnzcn>in case of a crisis you can't count on it
[02:38]<szznz>i am new at cisco
[02:38]<bsdrgdjg>sager, are you the one i was telling about my college screwing me over?
[02:38]<jnfnwzllnzcn>and if you use dns servers on a cisco you're just not going to know the ip addresses
[02:38]<szznz>ya BSDaemon
[02:38]<jnfnwzllnzcn>Sager: just type "ping <ip>"
[02:38]<bsdrgdjg>Sager: http://www.georgianscrewjob.com

[02:40]<szznz>successful
[02:40]<szznz>but check this
[02:40]<szznz> ;; connection timed out; no servers could be reached
[02:40]<bsdrgdjg>Sager your dns servers provided by your ISP not working?
[02:40]<szznz>when i try a /dns from hee
[02:41]<szznz>well i have tried 4 BSDaemon

[02:41]<bsdrgdjg>they always work for me
[02:43]<szznz>ip name-server 207.181.101.4
[02:43]<szznz>ip dhcp excluded-address 192.168.123.254
[02:43]<szznz>ip dhcp excluded-address 192.168.123.100 192.168.123.254
