[22:44]<dyguw>Let's say I get another customer next month that wants a cow management application for a farm. Then I can just implement two .DLLs and put them in the right directory and the application suddenl got new functionality.

[22:45]<dyguw>It's like VisualStudio, visualstudio itself is just the window and support for docks and plugins etc. To make VisualStudio actually do something you need to install products. (Look in the about dialog).

[23:43]<azyfm>you can still have your windows service, you just need to write another app to manage it
[23:44]<azyfm>actually, you *could* write it as a single app, that's either run as a service or a management console depending on command line args
