[12:44]<zyccus>does it add up the ascii codes?
[12:44]<kjr>rikkus: I just turned a partial paste into a full paste
[12:44]<kjr>for some reason my buffer was fucked up, so I recopied the link
[12:44]<slzygc_>Sorry last time I ask.. Anyway to change the hotkeys in the VC# Express IDE?
[12:44]<kjr>good god, you get spammed with all kinds of shit
[12:45]<kjr>you get a 4 billion page long topic, chanser'vs greet, then freenode-info spam
[12:45]<zyccus>sprink_: try tools->options
[12:45]<zyccus>sprink_: look for Keyboard
[12:45]<zyccus>Kog: never notice it myself
[12:46]<kjr>removed that inane greeting lilo added for me
[12:46]<kjr>I'll fix that topic spam later...
[12:46]<zyccus>that's better
[12:47]<zyccus>could stick all the links in a FAQ page somewhere, say 'read FAQ or die' and just put news in topic
[12:47]<kjr>we could if we had webspace
[12:47]<zyccus>google has that free space thing now...
[12:48]<zyccus>never had a use for it yet
[12:48]<drygq>smellyhippy: i would like to wrap the connection part of the ado2sqlite thing, using a class -> do you have some good ideas for this?
[12:48]<kjr>what, Base?
[12:48]<zyccus>that's the one
[12:48]<kjr>no, I'm not listening to this madness. I'm going to sleep.
[12:48]<kjr>SLEEP
[12:48]<zyccus>hehe
[12:49]<drygq>smellyhippy: i would love to be able to > SQLExec.Init(dbname) and then 'something something = new sqlexec.query(query)'
[12:49]<drygq>so i can keep the connection/initialization stuff apart from the querying
[12:51]<drygq>but i dont think that it would be handy to parse a IDataRecord, would it?
[12:54]<mjzymygo>>.< gotta get out of the habit of usine 'Convert.yadda' and use 'yaddo.Parse(...)'
[12:55]<mjzymygo>s/usine/using
[13:13]<rwyfcygs>main2: Holy crap, MS made something small, useful and free
[13:13]<rwyfcygs>Virtual CDROM driver
[13:14]<mjzymygo>huh?
[13:14]<mjzymygo>where where?
[13:14]<mjzymygo>I want to see this miracle
[13:14]<rwyfcygs>http://download.microsoft.com/download/7/b/6/7b6abd84-7841-4978-96f5-bd58df02efa2/winxpvirtualcdcontrolpanel_21.exe
[13:15]<rwyfcygs>That is just so neato it's not true
[13:16]<rwyfcygs>Now, if the control application was a command-line tool, it would almost be linux-ish
[13:16]<sdnffdxdlld>might as well use deamon tools
[13:16]<drygq>awilkins: why are you telling me this?
[13:16]<sdnffdxdlld>much better for working round copy protection
[13:16]<rwyfcygs>Sorry, that was accidental
[13:16]<drygq>:D
[13:16]<rwyfcygs>I don't care about copy protection.
[13:16]<rwyfcygs>I just want to install this MSDN Library 2006 without having to burn three CDs
[13:16]<drygq>yeah daemon is nice, daemon offers workarrounds for protection :D
[13:17]<sdnffdxdlld>aye
[13:17]<drygq>awilkins: can you pm me where you got it from? :O
[13:17]<sdnffdxdlld>very handy for running games faster of hdd's
[13:18]<drygq>smellyhippy, have you red what i wrote? :(
[13:18]<rwyfcygs>main2: What, the MSDN library or the Virtual CDROM?
[13:18]<sdnffdxdlld>yeah but I'm working atm ... gotta lot to do today before the weekend :S
[13:18]<-- svgvsdyzgjvr_ xrs>/dev/null")
[13:19]<drygq>ok, if you have some time later (maybe in the weekend) to talk 3mins about ado.net 2.0 sqlite..
[13:19]<drygq>i would extremely appreciate it
[13:20]<sdnffdxdlld>if I'm around no problem :) I mgiht get online at some point but I leave for a friends right after work tonight and wont be back home till sunday night hehe
[13:20]<drygq>LMFAAOO
[13:25]<zyccus>daemontools now comes with spyware
[13:25]<zyccus>so perhaps best avoided
[13:25]<zyccus>I've started using MS's control panel now - works fine
[13:29]<afd>hmmm
[13:29]<afd>together doesn't seem to support c# :-/
[13:30]<drygq>rikkus: if you just press nextnextnextnextnext - then it comes with spyware yes
[13:30]<drygq>if you simple uncheck 'do not install support stuff'.. (its really obvious..)
[13:31]<sdnffdxdlld>I#m just sticking with version 4.0.2
[13:31]<afd>what 4.0.2??
[13:32]<zyccus>main2: ok... I still don't like the fact it comes with it at all, though
[13:32]<zyccus>AqD: daemontools
[13:32]<afd>hmmm
[13:33]<drygq>rikkus, we all need to make money, dont moan
[13:33]<sdnffdxdlld>main2: there have been reports of "issues" with saying no to the install of it
[13:34]<slzygc_>omg .net has md5 methods
[13:34]<slzygc_>:D
[13:34]<sdnffdxdlld>not always but sometimes a bug seems to mess up the installer and it installs anyway
[13:34]<zyccus>main2: I'm not moaning - I just don't like spyware so I'm not going near it.
[13:35]<rwyfcygs>sprink_: The .NET crytpo support is luvverly
[13:35]<zyccus>I'm quite happy with Microsoft's little control panel - I don't do much image mounting - except in VMWare, which does that itself.
[13:36]<rwyfcygs>sprink_: Soooo easy compared to having to do crypto from VB6. CryptoAPI is one of the most EVIL things I've ever had to use.
[13:36]<mjzymygo>^^^ agree so much
[13:36]<rwyfcygs>And people implement things like DES in VB^ really, really, suckily.
[13:36]<mjzymygo>yo stinkyhippydude
[13:36]<sdnffdxdlld>lo
[13:37]<mjzymygo>you've been... quiet recently?
[13:37]<rwyfcygs>SpikeLite google why is smellyhippy so quiet
[13:37]<slycnlyvn>Result: The Pirate Bay - The worlds largest BitTorrent tracker : http://thepiratebay.org/login.php
[13:37]<mjzymygo>^^^ LMAO
[13:37]<rwyfcygs>Aha, he's been watching pr0n
[13:38]<drygq>DES in vb.. :')
[13:38]<drygq>way to go..
[13:38]<nnzjpfrr>I'm in love.
[13:38]<rwyfcygs>Smartcard applications
[13:38]<rgmznrs_>haha
[13:38]<nnzjpfrr>nirvana never sounded that good.
[13:38]<rgmznrs_>that was hilarious awilkins
[13:38]<sdnffdxdlld>I havent been that quiet :P
[13:38]<mjzymygo>stick to Rijndael (called AES these days...)
[13:38]<sdnffdxdlld>just because i wasnt on weds evening
[13:38]<sdnffdxdlld>:P
[13:39]<mjzymygo>hehe
[13:39]<rwyfcygs>Damn, this MSDN lib takes its bloody time to install
[13:39]<mjzymygo>i'm still downloading it =/
[13:39]<rwyfcygs>I suppose it is processing nearly 2 GB of data
[13:39]<mjzymygo>I'm on a 3meg line and it's downloading at half of that...
