[16:24]<cjmgrug>i would say, first learn it the hard way.. with notepad and 'hand coding'.. once you get that, you would want to shift to an IDE.. so now you have the advantage of good basics/fundamentals and also you have increased speed using intellisense etc..

[16:30]<mz_2zzgjwf>On Windows I mostly used Notepad2, but I'm starting to use Vi a bot more, if only to let it's neuromuscular pathways get embedded in my spinal loops a bit more.
