[10:47]<yzjzjc>I greet all. I have one question. I have installed the kernel of Debian destribution from image CD1. But I can't configure it because my keyboard dosn't work proper.

[11:01]<lnvnzs>mha13: two best bets are to convert to .deb form using 'alien', and install it that way, or to simply unpack it and find the file you need and stuff it into the right place manually

[11:01]<lnvnzs>alien isn't smart enough to account for differences in how cups files are installed on different OSes, so it may be that you have to figure it out manually and copy the files around manually

I believe I should stick to debian ,especially since they are not constaly updating the distro, etc and I want to design my own and custom how I want, and I did like that about debian , just takes the patience, and 1 thing I found, the network speed right off the bat for lan , is amazing
