[20:18]<igszgnhzdsvnz>shildebrand: I think it would be awful idea
[20:18]<sxyfmg2zrgm>:P
[20:18]<njdycjs>can you even do "string $var[0]" ?
[20:18]<pjffyvr>Hamster: Yes, but the bot has a lot of work to do, it should be able to take a rest once in awhile
[20:18]<njdycjs>cause... i thought, not?
[20:18]<xnfyjstnax>string(338) "http://www.searchfeed.com/rd/Clk.jsp?s=s7&k=debt&lnk2=rhhE%3F..Behk%276yekxpr%27pDB.pAspl.pAspl%27kyEw%3EixAsq%3D9L9LML1L%29kffsAskhesq%3D4L9G1%29letvDxq%3Dqeoh%29y%3DEAy%29i%3DrhhE%23Hk%23Gf%23Gfyekxprfeeq%27pDB%29xkCl%3D9L%29yq%3D2M%23GfGM%23Gf24%269G%23Hk9G%23HkGM%27L48%7C2%274M&p=45684&sid=360238&ex=1148577146183"
[20:18]<pjffyvr>Nomikos: You can, but you shouldn't
[20:18]<xnfyjstnax>here is the var dump
[20:18]<igszgnhzdsvnz>Pollita: he's napping? Again?
[20:18]<igszgnhzdsvnz>php-bot: botsnack
[20:18]<lxl-2jv>:), InsaneHamster
[20:18]<xnfyjstnax>CryWolf
[20:19]<igszgnhzdsvnz>it works :)
[20:19]<czdwjpp>HeliosTech: now, compare that, character by character, to the string you were trying to manually send.
[20:19]<pjffyvr>Helios: Another possibility. Since this is an ad site, they're probably noticing the referer is funny and realize that you're redirecting the user automatically which is against your TOS and blocking you automatically
[20:20]<igszgnhzdsvnz>Hum...
[20:20]<pjffyvr>or maybe not the referer, maybe something in that url is ephemeral, like a session ID and the one you're using is long since expired
[20:20]<xnfyjstnax>advertisement pay internet so don't be sarcastic
[20:21]<tuw1ns_>hmm
[20:21]<pjffyvr>Who's being sarcastic?
[20:21]<xnfyjstnax>advertisement allow us to download at 2Mbytes / s
[20:21]<tuw1ns_>I'm in need of some help..
[20:21]<czdwjpp>HeliosTech: do we get a kickback for helping you?
[20:21]<njdycjs>there was no sarcasm as far as i could see
[20:21]<svjzdzxzsnz>!+g1
[20:21]<lxl-2jv>Guideline #1) Don't ask to ask, Don't state: "I have a question", Don't ask: "Is anyone around?" or "Can anyone help?". Just Ask The Question
[20:21]<tuw1ns_>for whatever reason, when I run a .php file that cnonects to a mysql database, I get access denied, but it worked fine yesterday
[20:21]<njdycjs>well, except for that previous message :-)
[20:21]<xnfyjstnax>yep i'm rising internet economy
[20:22]<svjzdzxzsnz>*blibk*
[20:22]<svjzdzxzsnz>o.O
[20:22]<pjffyvr>It's called analysis, something you do to solve a problem <--- okay now that statement had a little sarcasm in it, but you deserved it
[20:22]<tuw1ns_>any ideas?
[20:22]<czdwjpp>Spelling is also something worth looking into.
[20:22]<mjzzdn>Nomikos: How do you find out how many values are in an array? I can't loop through it without that value.
[20:23]<svjzdzxzsnz>Tu13es_: Um... Your password changed?
[20:23]<czdwjpp>Tu13es_: sounds like a problem connecting to the database. Check the error message, try from the command line.
[20:23]<tuw1ns_>Stormchaser: nope, password's right
[20:23]<njdycjs>Morrye, sure you can, foreach($array as $item) {}, but you can use count($array) as well
[20:23]<vfnv>I would like to use a script to feed binary data to the browser (a download script of sorts), but in order to do so, I need to set the maximum execution time for scripts to an absurd ammount of time. Is there a way to do this without allowing other scripts to run for long periods of time?
[20:23]<pjffyvr>Tu13es: Does it work from the command line?
[20:23]<pjffyvr>set_time_limit(00);
[20:23]<tuw1ns_>Pollita, CryWolf, I can connect from command line
[20:23]<pjffyvr>erm, just one 0, but two is alright
[20:23]<vfnv>Pollita: super, thanks!
[20:23]<njdycjs>Vlet, ini_set(). I think
[20:24]<xnfyjstnax>CryWolf the only reason i found is that header("Location: ") is badly coded
[20:24]<njdycjs>Vlet, has to be allowed by your host though
[20:24]<xnfyjstnax>and it has a buffer max
[20:24]<njdycjs>ah.. set_time.. ok
[20:24]<vfnv>Nomikos: Running on my own host, so all's good
[20:24]<pjffyvr>That's not "badly coded" that's "well coded"
[20:24]<pjffyvr>work on your definitions son
[20:24]<xnfyjstnax>http://www.clickz.biz/search?q=debt CryWolf
[20:24]<xnfyjstnax>look click on links
[20:24]<rrppygrvnm>yeah, click on those ad links!
[20:25]<xnfyjstnax>you will see one var_dump and an echo""
[20:25]<svjzdzxzsnz>urf
[20:25]<njdycjs>Viagra anyone :-p
[20:25]<rrppygrvnm>every day man
[20:25]<svjzdzxzsnz>me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111111111111
[20:25]<xnfyjstnax>caffinated links are not linked
[20:25]<xnfyjstnax>so i won't earn a cents don't worry
[20:25]<svjzdzxzsnz>right...
[20:25]<tuw1ns_>hmm
[20:26]<xnfyjstnax>CryWolf you are on ?
[20:26]<xnfyjstnax>or somebody else ?
[20:26]<xnfyjstnax>experience
[20:26]<pjffyvr>And for the record, no, header() does *not* limit what you can send
[20:26]<pjffyvr>((apart from newline checks which are reasonable))
[20:26]<xnfyjstnax>Pollita but in practice yes
[20:26]<pjffyvr>In fact, no
[20:26]<xnfyjstnax>look
[20:26]<pjffyvr>no, you look.
[20:27]<xnfyjstnax>paste the url in you're browser
[20:27]<xnfyjstnax>it will would
[20:27]<xnfyjstnax>it will works
[20:27]<svjzdzxzsnz>!+enter
[20:27]<lxl-2jv>Don't use the enter key as punctuation. Think in complete thoughts, then type.
[20:27]<pjffyvr>Then your script is broken.
[20:29]<xnfyjstnax>hum ah \n in url can broke header ?
[20:29]<pjffyvr>you fucker
[20:29]<fzr_>this is a really dumb question, but i've read in a csv file, with file_get_contents and am trying to explode it into an array. do i have to explode on \r\n as well as , ?
[20:30]<njdycjs>lra_, there is a function for what you want, fget_csv or somesuch
[20:30]<czdwjpp>lra_: why not use fgetcsv?
[20:30]<fzr_>really?
[20:30]<fzr_>wow
[20:30]<njdycjs>that the one :)
[20:30]<xnfyjstnax>what ??
[20:30]<fzr_>i think i will :) thanks
[20:30]<pjffyvr>You said those wern't linked. You lied.
[20:31]<xnfyjstnax>lol
[20:31]<pjffyvr>Now, I'm about to lose signal so I'm just going to deal with you.
[20:31]<njdycjs>"taking bets now..."
[20:31]<xnfyjstnax>i'm uploading and testing at the same time
[20:31]<fzr_>oh, so i can't read in a file (only 3 lines long) then process using fgetcsv ?
[20:32]<pjffyvr>lra: Nope (and I agree, it's kinda lame)
[20:32]<njdycjs>you can read the file *with* fgetcsv
[20:32]<fzr_>'has left...' is freenodes kick message?
[20:32]<pjffyvr>lra: Prevents bouncing
