[07:07]<g1zdysd>look normal?
[07:07]<pzzjus>Zambezi: by the way prepare your self for bumpy ride till 64 bit has better support on linux which should be soon though
[07:07]<rjrvdrfn>me too tohellwithGA
[07:07]<zrscjfgycjv>and when i click details it says /etc/gdm/PreSession/Default:
[07:07]<sxzylxrgy>hmm so i think keygens are available ?
[07:07]<pzzjus>n3rdism: did you try sudo mount -a
[07:07]<zgmznwscy>goatmale: hypochondriac?
[07:07]<zrscjfgycjv>/etc/gdm/Xsession: beginning session setup
[07:07]<zgmznwscy>n3rdism: hrm... seems ok, but maybe the flags are no good?
[07:07]<vzzug>Dark_Knight_209: I don't think you get 32 bit procs anymore......all AMD's chips are 64 bit............and I think all Intel's new ones are, too
[07:07]<zrscjfgycjv>mkdtemp: private socket dir: persmission denied
[07:07]<rjrvdrfn>haha nope. I have a really crazy computer
[07:07]<zrscjfgycjv>do you know how to fix it andrewski ?
[07:07]<vjxnffwyvxga>andrewski: i'd like both to work, but i could deal with just one. unfortunately that one is not my default and disabling the other in BIOS makes the PC unbootable
[07:07]<g1zdysd>farous: same issue
[07:07]<zgmznwscy>raskolnikov: not offhand.
[07:08]<zrscjfgycjv>what does it mean?
[07:08]<zgmznwscy>raskolnikov: don't know... offhand.
[07:08]<vxnbysxjl>is there any programs that will rip DVDs to the PSP mpeg4 AVC format?
[07:08]<pzzjus>n3rdism: I think it did not umount probably perhaps as you said you need a reboot
[07:08]<vzzug>Dark_Knight_209: getting a 64 bit proc future proofs you, too
[07:08]<c0zf>help: Xorg is ignoring the XkbLayout option, instead it uses the console keymap
[07:08]<zgmznwscy>theBishop: thoggen may help you.
[07:08]<rjrvdrfn>andrewski can I PM you?
[07:08]<g1zdysd>farous: i will try that. brb
[07:08]<dzzc_cryrxv_q0n>i looking into getting a laptop, anyone have any expperience with 64 bit on a laptop?
[07:08]<zgmznwscy>goatmale: ok
[07:08]<vxnbysxjl>andrewski, thoggen doesn't seem to have a PSP profile
[07:08]<erd2ney>farous, That's why I wait a little bit. At least after Edgy is released.
[07:09]<zgmznwscy>theBishop: ok, that's all i know.
[07:09]<vzzug>Dark_Knight_209: running one right now
[07:09]<vxnbysxjl>andrewski, thanks anyway man
[07:09]<zrscjfgycjv>and i cant log into anything , kde, gnome, enlightenment nothing
[07:09]<vzzug>Dark_Knight_209: I'd say get a Turion X2 based laptop if you have the money
[07:09]<c0zf>Xorg is ignoring the XkbLayout option, instead it uses the console keymap?
[07:09]<dzzc_cryrxv_q0n>i'll spend around 2,000 2,500
[07:09]<pzzjus>Zambezi: hopefully by then though i think it might take little longer
[07:10]<c0zf>anyone?
[07:10]<cjzfjzzf_dyzrn>Anyone know why Ubuntu likes to randomly mount then attempt to write to NTFS partitions?
[07:10]<erd2ney>farous, Do you have any idea how long it can take?
[07:10]<ffrv>wastrel: likely a dumb question, but are symbols (in a separate package, i'd guess) available for most bits? I'm running into a problem with the recent php4 security update to hoary and i'm trying to get debugging symbols, ideally for those bits - Reading symbols from /usr/lib/apache2/modules/libphp4.so...(no debugging symbols found)...done.
[07:10]<djzrrg>what the risk?
[07:10]<pzzjus>Zambezi: am just guessing
[07:10]<zgmznwscy>k0rq: what's set in xorg.conf? can you paste that line?
[07:10]<cjzfjzzf_dyzrn>Ubuntu has borked 3 NTFS partitions.
[07:10]<ysysysys>nope it didnt work
[07:10]<rjrvdrfn>:(
[07:11]<rjrvdrfn>try mounting it and unmounting it
[07:11]<c0zf>Option "XkbLayout" "ee" i think
[07:11]<g1zdysd>farous: err nope >.<
[07:11]<wggcjq>k0rq: nick=callsign?
[07:11]<zgmznwscy>k0rq: what's ee? i'm not sure. :-/
[07:11]<wzsvznf>Flav: i'm not a developer - dunno :]
[07:11]<pzzjus>n3rdism: still having probl
[07:11]<ysysysys>maybe i should try it in root prompt
[07:11]<c0zf>the console keymap is colemak from colemak.com
[07:11]<ffynsfycnrfrl>where does proftpd save its logs by default?
[07:11]<rjrvdrfn>some one help me with this error:: mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/hdb1
[07:11]<c0zf>ee for estonian
[07:11]<g1zdysd>farous: yah, im going to see what i can do w/ fstab
[07:11]<zgmznwscy>k0rq: ok. running gnome?
[07:11]<c0zf>but it completely ignores it
[07:11]<c0zf>no
[07:11]<vzzug>Dark_Knight_209: hp has some badass Turion X2 based laptops......I would go for those
[07:12]<zgmznwscy>k0rq: what's it use? qwerty?
[07:12]<cjzfjzzf_dyzrn>I need somw help mounting a HDD.
[07:12]<dzzc_cryrxv_q0n>hp seems like my best bet
[07:12]<ffrv>anyone know where Ubuntu security advisories are posted? (similar to the ones for Debian listed on security.debian.org)
[07:12]<pzzjus>n3rdism: i do not think the prob is with fstab, if the error is wrong file sys then it is prob wrong file sys
[07:12]<rjrvdrfn>I can try to help corporal dirge
[07:12]<zgmznwscy>Flav: search google for "ubuntu security notice"
[07:12]<c0zf>x uses the console keymap..
[07:12]<pzzjus>good luck though
[07:13]<cjzfjzzf_dyzrn>goatmale, Have any experience troubleshooting it?
[07:13]<cygr2rfu>whats the command with apt-get to list packages avaialble?
[07:13]<zgmznwscy>n3rdism: can you comment the line out of fstab?

[07:13]<rjrvdrfn>not really but I can try, just post it in channel

[07:14]<cjzfjzzf_dyzrn>I have a HDD with a 3GB partition that I can't mount.
[07:14]<g1zdysd>i still had the flags from the ntfs on there
